Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC):

Dress for Success

Maternal and Child Health Services of Allegheny County

Pregnancy and birth are critical periods in any family’s life and an integral life change. The Maternal and Child Health Services include meeting with a nurse, breastfeeding support, smoking cessation services, and fatherhood engagement. For more information, please call:

Literacy Pittsburgh (formerly Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council)

Literacy Pittsburgh offers free education programs for adult and families in Allegheny and Beaver Counties. Programs include GED prep, reading, writing, math, English language, citizenship, and intergenerational tutoring for children. Jeremiah’s Place

Jeremiah’s Place provides 24-hour emergency childcare for children birth to 6 years for a few hours or a few days, based on the needs of the family.
