The jobs we place clients in generally fall into one of three categories:
Unsubsidized Employment:
A job where all wages and benefits are paid by the employer. This is considered “permanent employment” from day one.
Subsidized Employment:
A job where a portion of wages and benefits are paid for by the EARN and Work Ready programs during an initial period of employment. This type of position is also considered “permanent employment” from day one.
On-the-Job Training (OJT) – A job where the client learns new skills by training in a real-world work environment. Training is provided at the workplace by supervisors or other staff and give the trainee a “hands-on” learning experience. Trainees are paid during this time, though it is often less than what their pay will be when they finish the training and are hired full-time.
